We offer a professional, comfortable working environment for journalists, photographers, radio and television crews.
Press passes for the Royal Highland Show are available to members of the media working on editorial, photographic or broadcast coverage of the Show.
If you are working on a freelance basis, we need to know where your work is to be placed therefore please provide us with a list of those publications, broadcasters or web-based outlets you expect to be working for (along with contact details where possible). Alternatively, you can arrange for one of these organisations to apply for the pass on your behalf. We will require this information before you can be considered for accreditation.
This arrangement is in your interest as it will help us to ensure that the press room is managed exclusively for the news media.
Please note that press passes are only given to working journalists. Press passes will not be issued for guests unless they are also attending as a working journalist / photographer.
Press passes are not available for commercial photographers. If this applies to you, we will be happy to help you with information in the press centre but you will need to buy your ticket.
If, as a media representative, you are issued with an entry ticket, this will only give you admission to the showground. You will then need to visit the Press Centre upstairs in the Cattle / Highland Hall to register and if required you will be issued with a wristband; you will need this to enter locations which have restricted access. Without your wristband, you will not gain entry to such areas - you must register at the Press Centre.
Once you have successfully accredited we will send tickets to you via email.
